Frequently Asked Questions
What’s the difference between our club and Public dog parks?
We are a private club which allows us to prioritize safety and comfort. Every dog you and your pooch meet will be up to date on shots and have passed a behavior assessment.
Staff and club members work together to make Pawsome safe, inclusive, and vibrant.
Do dogs have to be spayed or neutered to visit the park?
Dogs 8 months and older must be spayed or neutered. Dogs that have not been "fixed" smell very different and will receive an amount of attention that may be uncomfortable.
Are vaccinations required?
Yes, we require current Rabies, DHPP and Bordetella vaccinations to become a member.
Will staff supervise my dog?
Staff members are available to help with situations that may be escalating or behaviors that may need addressing. However, each owner is responsible for watching their own dog, cleaning up messes, and keeping barking to a minimum. If your dog is displaying any signs of aggression or escalating behaviors, we may ask you to take a time out or leave. If you notice concerning behaviors going unchecked, please notify staff.
Can I bring my own dog toy or dog treats?
Outside toys and treats are not permitted. This is purely for safety reasons in order to minimize possession aggression.
Are photos and videos allowed?
We encourage you to capture all the cuteness you see! Follow and tag us @Pawsome, your pics may be featured on our page.
We will also offer professional photography for you and your four-legged friends during special events.
